Support
Spree is open source software and it is available free of charge. The Spree developers are volunteers and work together as a community solving common business problems. As such, user support is provided by the Spree user and developer community on a voluntary basis.
Fortunately there are many excellent resources available to you to help with your issues.
FAQ
The Official Spree FAQ is a good place to acquaint yourself with some of the Spree basics.
Problems
If you’re having a problem with Spree, please review the Common Problems and How-To documents first. If this does not solve your problem you may want to try searching the “discussion group” archive. Many times other users have already encountered (and solved) your problem.
Ask a Question
If you’ve done your basic research and reviewed the wiki and searched the issue tracker then feel free to ask you your question via the discussion group or mailing list.
If you solve your question before someone is able to help you, please post your solution to the mailing list anyways. This will help future users who might have the same problem. Please also consider contributing something to the wiki as well if you feel it might benefit others.
Report a Bug
If you’re pretty sure you’ve encountered a bug, then feel free to report it using the issue tracker. If you’re not quite sure then feel free to describe your problem on the mailing list (after doing the standard searches of the wiki and issue tracker.) If one of the developers can confirm this is a bug they may ask you to submit it to the issue tracker. This will ensure the bug is not forgotten about and allow other developers to communicate directly with you regarding your issue.
Consulting Services
If you are in need of professional Spree consulting services you may be interested in contacting End Point which sponsors this project. End Point currently employs Sean Schofield (original author of Spree) as well as several other Spree contributors.
